Jane tutored my son for Sociology for the second year of his A level Sociology. She really helped him to plug the gaps and coached him towards his final exams for which he received an excellent grade helping him achieve his points for Uni. We’re very grateful we found her.

I had Jane as a tutor for the past few months and she was an excellent Tutor! Her exam knowledge is something only she can provide and has helped me go from a C grade to A* in Psychology. One of the many reasons for this was her quick turn around time in Marking- I would send a past paper I had done, and she would get it marked the very same day every single time! I would highly reccomend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, friendly tutor

After a year with Jane, my daughter successfully secured a place a Durham University studying Sociology. There is no doubt that Jane’s teaching style, approach and knowledge played a key role in this achievement.

We decided not to continue with the sessions as my daughter was studying an exam syllabus that required specific experience/knowledge.

Jane was an excellent tutor for my daughter. She was thorough and explained everything brilliantly and really helped my daughter in her A-level Psychology. She gave sound advice in what areas to really concentrate on, excellent essay writing advice and teaching. I would thoroughly recommend her.

Although my son only had one lesson with Jane as he had to drop the subject at the request of his school - She was absolutely lovely and I know from his interaction with her that he would have enjoyed further lessons with her as well as gained a vast amount of knowledge from her lessons given her level of expertise.

She has a lot of good resource , very soft spoken when teaching. My daughters grade has improve & we will continue with her till Yr 13 (A level exam).

Jane has been a great help to my daughter who had missed several weeks of college and was falling behind . My daughter always looks forward to Jane's sessions and has said that Jane is encouraging and supportive and always has a lot of extra resources that my daughter can take and use in her work and study. My daughter has just sat her mock exams and came home feeling much more positive than she has previously. Jane has helped my daughter with both subject revision and exam questions and my daughter feels much more confident about her upcoming exams.

Jane was very prompt to respond to our initial enquiry and answered our questions thoroughly. We requested her details and again she was responsive in setting up our call. We can not comment on Janes qualities as a tutor as we mutually agreed after our call that the 'fit" wasn't quite right. This is no criticism of her as a tutor but recognition that the Tutor/student connection needs to be right. (Please ignore the 1-5 rating as we have to put this in to leave feedback).

My daughter is thoroughly enjoying her sessions with Jane and has found them really worthwhile in terms of boosting her confidence and understanding in preparation for her A levels with psychology & Sociology - JAne is a very likeable and patient tutor who really tries to get to grips with what the student is struggling with.

Jane has really helped my son get to grips with weaker areas for his Psychology area, esepcially the tricky Research Methodology. He really liked her, and she has also helped him grow in confidence. Highly recommended.

Jane has been tutoring my son in A Level Psychology since January. She has a wealth of experience both as a sixth form teacher and examiner. Jane has been tutoring my daughter for her A level. Jane replied to our initial enquiry very quickly & was very professional in ascertaining which areas were causing concerns. My daughter has found her sessions extremely helpful. Jane has also recommended additional study texts to provide even greater depth to topics along with practice papers to complete between sessions, which Jane reviews ready for their next session. Jane is also very flexible in her approach & will provide sessions as & when wanted. Highly recommend.

Thank you Jane for agreeing to support my son. Jane came with past papers and the syllabus book and was ready to answer any queries that my son had. However what I needed was planned lessons to cover the whole of the new Psychology AS syllabus then on to the A2. This was a challenging task which required more time.
