Hello! My name is Janine. I’m 35, married to my husband (who is also a teacher) and proud mummy to two little girls (7 and 3) and two fur babies.
I am a passionate educator who would like to work on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
I originally trained as a Spanish teacher and taught up to GCSE level in high schools for 5 years.
My family and I moved to Australia and I found that no schools in Australia taught Spanish. So I then found some supply work in a Special Needs School and fell in love with it.
Enter Covid and we had to return to the UK and I am now a proud teacher in a SEN school teaching SLD/MLD and SEMH. I have experience working with non and pre verbal children and work using PECs and SCARC.
I am kind, passionate and dedicated to teaching. I have experienced all types of environments. But most of all, I am a parent and I understand how important the education and wellbeing of your child is.
