Curiosity, clarity, and connection have always driven my work.
Whether I’m teaching English, supporting someone through a big exam, or helping a professional refine how they communicate, I’m drawn to moments where language becomes a bridge—between people, ideas, and opportunities.
I’ve spent years working across education and the public sector, and what I’ve found is this: when people feel understood, they’re more likely to understand. That’s why I take the time to get to know every learner I work with—their strengths, challenges, and what really motivates them.
Outside of work, I find joy in books, creative writing, good food, long walks, and conversations that wander as much as the route.
I’m a qualified English teacher (PGCE and CELTA) with experience across inner-city schools in London and Wolverhampton. I’ve taught English Language and Literature from Primary to A-Level/IB, and have specialist experience supporting students with SEN or lower attainment. I’ve also worked as an exam marker for Edexcel, a learning support assistant, and a tutor for both entrance exams and international students.
Beyond the classroom, I’ve delivered literacy workshops and led communications initiatives within HMRC and other government departments—helping teams improve their written clarity, digital communication, and overall confidence.
Whatever your starting point, my goal is the same: to help you grow in confidence, build key skills, and feel proud of your progress. I specialize in English GCSE and IGCSE (Language and Literature), 11+ and 13+ entrance exams (Comprehension, Creative Writing, Verbal Reasoning), and EFL.
My most valuable asset is a natural ability to build strong, human connections with learners of all ages. I adapt every session to the individual in front of me, balancing structure with responsiveness, challenge with encouragement—so that learning becomes not just effective, but meaningful.
