I am a financial coach with twenty five years of experience giving investment advice and managing money for institutions and private clients. I worked with many high net worth clients at various global private banks in London. I want to share my financial/investment knowledge with more people regardless how much money they have and am now coaching anyone who wants to learn about managing their own finances or managing investments themselves. I want to utilize my professional experience and expertise to help children and adults building knowledge and confidence about money so that they can be more comfortable making financial decisions in life. I also often act as a sounding board to someone who needs a professional opinion whether they are on the right track to maintain a good financial health. In my investment and coaching career, I have met many people who are fearful about handling money - this can be scared of managing their own finances, or intimidated by the thought of talking to a financial advisor. My goal is to teach people financial literacy in a gentle and bespoke approach so that they can be more confident handling financial related life decisions.

Tutoring Experience

I spent the first part of my career analyzing company shares and managing mutual funds. After that I spent over fifteen years giving investment advice and managing portfolios for high net-worth clients. I have been coaching clients from a wide range of background (corporate employees, retirees, teenagers) about all aspect of personal finance for the last several years.
I am a native Mandarin speaker and happy to tutor Mandarin at all levels as well as primary school math (up to 11+).

Tutoring Approach

My approach is flexible and bespoke to suit your need. For Financial Wellbeing sessions, the topics can range from Budgeting, Savings (ISAs), Pension, to Tax planning, Investment (asset allocation and approach to investment selection), etc. I can guide you on how to start your own investment journey. I can also help you understand your pension statement, or investment statement better and explain any financial products you are confused about. I believe in helping people building knowledge in a relaxed and methodical manner. I always tailor my teaching style to each individual. My hourly rate is £60. Sessions can be shorter if required and a subscription service is also available.
