I studied MSci Chemistry at the University of Glasgow, graduating in 2013. Since then I have worked in the water industry in technical roles, for example working as a Pilot Engineer for a water technology company.
I offer maths tutoring to either secondary school pupils (GCSE/National 5 or lower) or primary pupils who might want a bit of extra help or just to supplement schoolwork. I have experience in tutoring KS2, National 4 and 5 and GCSE maths.
I have been tutoring maths since summer 2020. I am used to adapting lessons and explanations to suit each lesson depending on the needs of the student.
I have also previously taught children and young people as a swimming teacher. I have also worked with children several times in volunteering roles.
I am very flexible as to how the lessons are, depending on the student. Usually I have a google docs page that I have prepared before the lesson that we can look through for explanations, and to practice some examples. We can also go through examples of questions from the school class to ensure we are working at the right level. If there is a certain topic that you would like covered I can prepare lessons based on that. The topics we study can be driven by the student.
