I am a teacher of science and chemistry. I have been a teacher since 2003 and I have taught all the exam syllabus, even with the most recent changes. I have tutored successfully for the past eight year and I have been an exam marker for the past 10 years and still do mark now. I have a good idea of exactly what is required for the exam boards and I cater for all styles of learning.
I provide all resources and they are included in my hourly fee.
I have a Dbs from Nov 2015 and can provide tutoring references on request.
Please note I do not travel - I only tutor from my home.

varied depending on the needs of the tutee. I find that learning and practicing in the session works well. I will then leave similar questions for the tutee to complete before the next session. this helps me see if the student is making progress in the sessions and they can see the progress themselves. Other styles that work are going through exam questions, identifying key points and using revision techniques that can be taught in the sessions.
I do believe that tutoring is not a substitute for revision but in addition and it is important that tutees are committed to revision if they wish tutoring to be sucessful.
