I am a qualified teacher and specialist maths teacher with over 20 years experience. I moved into the Wrexham area after teaching and tutoring in Salford. I then taught part time on a supply or temporary contract basis in Shropshire and Wrexham. I have an honours degree in Applied Physics and a PGCE.
I tutor Maths on a 1-1 basis for ages 11-16.
I am a mother to 3 children, all have been to university:the eldest has a PhD; the middle has a degree and masters from a Russell group university and my youngest gained a first class honours in maths at another Russell Group university. I have helped my own children to achieve their goals and would dearly love to help others achieve theirs too.
I have successfully tutored students in maths up to GCSE level. I have 28 years teaching experience and I always tailor my lessons to the individual needs of the children that I tutor.
I am a friendly, approachable and professional teacher who's aim is to make my tutees relax and enjoy learning. This I find is the best way to instil confidence therefore allowing the tutee to make progress at their own pace.
Within my 50 minute long lessons. I will assess where your child is and work with them to overcome their difficulties and achieve their full potential.
