I hold a PhD in Computer Science and a 1st class Masters degree in Physics. I have over 10 years of publishing scientific papers and applying Computing and Physics at the highest level.
I like to tailor my teaching for each student so that they can get the most out of our time together. Tuition is also about increasing confidence as well as knowledge. I aim to help develop good exam skills and techniques. For those interested in further education and careers I provide insights into industry and academia, and contacts for potential placements.
While I'm not tutoring I am working on new scientific papers. My career has seen me develop new science and software for companies across the UK including Network Rail, the UK government, and the NHS.
I am all about learning myself too, and I continue to take many online courses to help improve my tutoring skills to ensure I can provide students with the best experience.

University lecturer and school tutor for the past 10 years. I teach physics, maths, and computer science from GCSE all the way to university-level, in a variety of methods including one-on-one and full classes
As a techie with a PhD in computing, I think that online tutoring, while different to in-person, has the capacity to be much more impactful. There is a wealth of different digital tools to assist with learning. Helping students find the right tools for study can vastly improve their understanding and enthusiasm.
