Home Tuition for Physics and Chemistry in Welwyn Garden City

I'm John, a graduate in Chemistry from the University of York, with a passion for science and sharing knowledge.
I provide tuition in Chemistry up to A level, and Physics, Biology and Mathematics up to GCSE level. As a tutor I'm patient and enthusiastic. I believe that enabling students to understand core concepts is the key to succeeding in more advanced learning. My approach to learning includes encouraging students to ask questions and think independently around the subject.
Offer tuition for AQA, OCR and Edexcel examination boards.

Tutoring Experience

I've worked with students in learning and consolidating basic concepts, developing and applying key knowledge and understanding, encouraging independent thinking, preparation for tests / mock exams (including practice questions) and reviewing answers from test papers to identify areas for improvement and further learning. I have enabled students to achieve significant improvement in class position and results.
