William John's Feedback

I contacted William to tutor my daughter A-level computer. He is a good teacher and a nice gentleman but my daughter didn’t find his teaching style useful and they did not reach an understanding. Unfortunately it didn’t work out this time.

William John helped my son prepare for his Computer Science IGCSE. In particular, we were looking for someone who could advise on the pre-release material. William was approachable and flexible and targeted his tuition to meet our requirements. My son did well in his exam, achieving an A, so we were happy with the help.

Over the last four years John has helped both my sons in A-Level maths, with both achieving A grade standard. John is an empathetic and patient tutor and got on well with both boys. Prior to lockdown, John would come round and tutor face-to-face at our home. During lockdown we continued via Zoom and this worked really well. John has been an excellent teacher and given our children a real confidence boost. We would recommend him to anyone who needs a helping hand with their maths.

John is prompt, helpful and explains things well. My son enjoys his sessions.

My son has only had a couple of lessons with John but he has found John clear, supportive and is engaging him to do his best and help him push and prepare for his GCSE next May. John is professional and flexible, we're looking forward to a positive year together.

Mr has been tutoring me in maths. He has helped me regain my confidence and prepared me for my GCSE exams. I have found him really easy to get along with and enjoyed all my lessons with him.

John was an excellent tutor, he understood what was needed to get the required 'A' level grades, therefore the lessons were geared precisely to what was needed. My daughter found Mr Walktons approach very positive and relaxing attitude really helped her studies to sink in after 1 session she was very pleased with test result she received after going over topics with Mr she is looking forward to moving on with her tutor

We have only had one session of tuition from John so far but he certainly made my daughter feel at ease with maths. They went over some past SATs papers and he explained the questions she struggled with. We fully intend to continue with John as our daughter's tutor.

After a couple of tutoring sessions, my son has found John to be a very good tutor. His explanations are very clear and already my son is feeling more confident about taking his maths GCSE. I would definitely recommend John as a tutor.

John has really hepled my daughter with her A level maths - She finds him very approachable and particularly likes the fact that he uses simple examples to explain complex areas. Most lessons start with a list of things she has not understood from the previous week as school, which she also finds very useful.
