I retired as a successful professional mathematician in Industry and Financial Services in 2014.
Between 2014 and 2024 I have been a maths tutors at GCSE and A-Level and have over 1500 hours of teaching experience with excellent results for my students.
At A-level I teach all Examining Boards and all modules for both maths and further maths
Tutoring Experience
I have taught pupils of varying ability and aims. Several have been with me from Year 7 to Year 13.
Tutoring Approach
I offer a very flexible approach based on the pupil's ability, but typically I would work through the textbook ,making sure the pupil has a thorough understanding before moving on. Together with the pupil we work through textbook exercises and examples and in due course tackle past examination papers
