I am a Principal Teacher of Mathematics who studied at Glasgow University, achieving a Masters in Mathematics before completing my PGDE teacher training with distinction at Jordanhill. Since then, I have worked extremely hard as a classroom teacher in several schools to share my enthusiasm for Mathematics with pupils both in and out of the classroom.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a Principal Teacher of Mathematics in my current school for 13 years now and have 19 years of overall teaching experience in several secondary schools. My former and current students would testify to my excellent standard of teaching and my ability to help students gain the best possible results in formal examinations.

Tutoring Approach

I am friendly and approachable, although thoroughly professional at all times. I always match my style and methods of teaching to the needs and learning style of the individual student. I have a wide range of resources available for all National, Higher and Advanced Higher courses ready to be shared with students.
