Hello my name is Joe and I’m a fully qualified teacher of science. My background is in biology but I’m currently teaching all three sciences in an international school. I’m happy to tutor physics, chemistry and biology for GCSE and chemistry and biology for A-Level.

Tutoring Experience

I'm familiar with the majority of GCSE and A-level curricula (AQA, Cambridge, Edexcel, OCR, I.B), and have previously been a examiner for A-level biology. This means I can give an insight into exactly what the exam boards are looking for in your answers.

I’m highly experienced in working with smaller groups and one-to-one tutoring online, having taught science as well as English as a second language.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style follows an exam question based approach, as I feel it is important to know what you are aiming for when preparing for a science exam. I also think it is important to instill scientific investigation skills and to make connections to real world applications and issues.
