I am a conscientious student who has just completed 6th Form college studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I achieved an A in Biology and Chemistry, and a C in Mathematics, and at GCSE I achieved 9s in every subject I took other than Mathematics (8). I tutor on zoom, and I offer biology and chemistry tutoring up to A-Level, and all other subjects up to GCSE

Tutoring Experience

Tutored multiple classmates in across a range of subjects at A-Level and GCSE. On average, at GCSE, I increase my tutee's grades by 2-3 levels. At A-Level, I usually increase my tutee's grades by 1-2 levels. I am particularly adept and tutoring a B grade student and making them an A grade student

Tutoring Approach

Before each lesson, I will contact my tutee and ask them what they would like to cover in the lesson. Then, I will put together a lesson for them for us to go through across the hour, using established revision techniques such as repetition and active recall. If a tutee is struggling to understand a concept, I will not move on from the topic until I am confident they have understood it fully. As exams approach, I will focus on tackling difficult exam questions with my students, to increase their exam technique and nous before their examinations.
