A Level Literature and A Level English Language specialist.

My specialism is teaching A Level English Literature and English Language and I have been a Sixth Form manager for over a decade, achieving outstanding results for my students. I am an examiner for A level Literature. Additionally, I have successfully taught Law for many years and have professional qualifications in the subject. I am also an excellent GCSE English and Literature teacher of over 15 years experience.

Tutoring Experience

I have successfully tutored GCSE students in AQA Language and Literature from Huntington School, Fulford School, Vale of York, Archbishop Holgates, Ampleforth and Manchester generally moving students by at least two grades.

My particular specialism is A level having helped students increase their attainment by a number of grades. I have worked with students from:

My breadth of teaching experience means that I am able to deal with many specifications and texts.

I have taught for 18 years and have specialisms in teaching A level English Literature, English Language, the Extended Project Qualification and Law. For a decade I have been a Sixth Form manager and I can assist with UCAS applications and university preparation.
