and university entrance preparation in History, Politics, Art History and Law
I studied History at St Andrews, London, Toronto and Oxford universities. I have 30 years’ experience in teaching and management in independent schools (I still work part-time at one) and I have taught numerous courses in Ancient, Mediaeval, Early Modern, and Modern History, as well as Politics and Political Thought. I have prepared students for university entrance (in History and in Law) throughout my career.
My approach to teaching is broadly traditional. I have a particular interest in interdisciplinary approaches to learning about the past.
