I am a fully qualified, experienced and GTC registered teacher of English.
Qualifications: M.A. Hons from The University of Glasgow and P.G.C.E(s) from Strathclyde University.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching English in Scottish secondary schools for over twenty years, and am experienced in the delivery of all levels including N5, Higher (N6) and Advanced Higher. I also work for SQA, marking Higher Portfolio and Critical Reading. For the last five years I have also taught N5 and Higher Media.

Tutoring Approach

I prefer to tutor in person, and vary my approach depending on personality, learning style and individual needs.
I believe that building a student's confidence is the first step on the road to success and this can be more easily achieved through one to one tuition .
