I am a qualified maths teacher and I am calm, approachable and encouraging. I enjoy working with students on a one-to-one basis, allowing us to concentrate on the areas most beneficial to their progress in maths. I have a first class Oxbridge maths degree. I am DBS checked.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught maths and further maths in age 11-18 schools and tutored many students of this age and above, mainly for KS3, GCSE (foundation and higher), AS and A Level.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring ranges from increasing confidence in basic maths to detailed preparation for specific examinations, so my approach varies according to individual needs, goals and time-frames. My students are very comfortable to ask any questions they have and we work at the pace which best suits them. I am available after school, evenings and weekends for weekly one hour slots. I am also available some daytimes and I offer more ad hoc sessions, where I can fit these around regular bookings.
