My name is Kalim Bartlett and I live and reside in Newport South Wales. I am a 2009 Graduate from Newport University, with a 2:1 Degree in Fine Art. My Degree encompassed painting, video installation, film and performance. I lived and worked as an English Teacher in mainland China (Chengdu) for over 3 years. I also have a registered TEFL certificate. In my English lessons I specialize in day to day communication, focusing on inter-personal communication, travel and culture, I also teach IELTS and specialize in helping students pass their exams. I also can speak mandarin Chinese fluently 我会说中文

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced Esol teacher that has lived abroad (mainland China) teaching English as a foreign language.
I have linked in with many universities around South Wales helping students develop linguistic capacities and comprehension skills. By speech and articulation I would help them pronounce sounds and words clearly and fluently as well as learning to express and write their own dissertations.

Tutoring Approach

I am an energetic and friendly Teacher who always encourages my students to be relaxed, speak confidently in class and enjoy learning new skills, whether language or music based. All of my students have been satisfied with my English teaching approach. I have worked for many different English schools all around Sichuan and I am at the intermediate level in Mandarin Chinese.
