Hi, My name is Kate. I am a science and maths GCSE tutor and have availability for tutees. I taught science for 2 years at a high achieving school and have a high success rate with my students both in school and through private tuition.

After all of the disruption the last few years it might be the right time to receive some extra support before exams this summer or, perhaps you want to put something in place for a younger student to increase their confidence before their exam year.

I offer KS3 Science and Maths. KS4 Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths. KS5 Physics. All sessions will be tailored around your specific needs whether that be teaching you content or working though exam questions.

I can be flexible around school hours and offer competitive rates, block booking discounts and small group sessions.

I hold an enhanced DBS, PGCE and QTS. 2 years teaching experience and 3 years tutoring experience.

Tutoring Experience

I have 2 years of secondary school teaching experience, teaching a range of abilities and ages. I have experience teaching AQA GCSE Combined Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and OCR A-level Physics with 90% of my A-level Physics class achieving A/A*.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is entirely pupil led and all sessions will be individually planned and catered to the tutee. I have a strong focus on exam technique and preparing the tutee for the specifics of the their exam boards and building a strong understanding of the subject.
