Hello! I have recently completed my Master's in Chemistry at the University of Liverpool and I am eager to provide Chemistry tutoring for GCSE and A Level.

Tutoring Experience

• 1st Class (Hons) degree and received an award for best performance in the Chemistry Master's programme.
• 4 A* in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and History at A Level
• Tutored lower years at University in workshops and one-on-one scenarios.
• Experienced with exam techniques/mark schemes across exam boards (AQA/OCR/Edexcel/WJEC)

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring style is personalized for each student, based on how they learn best. I start by making sure they fully understand the basics before moving on to more complex topics in the syllabus. I use different teaching methods, including interactive online tools, to keep lessons interesting. I focus on past paper questions in order to suitably prepare them for the exam.

One key part of my approach is having students explain what they've learned back to me. This helps them remember better and shows me where they might need more help. I don't just teach for exams - I try to make chemistry interesting by showing how it applies to real life.

My goal is to help students really understand chemistry, not just memorize facts. I encourage them to think critically and solve problems on their own. This helps prepare them for future studies and jobs. By teaching this way, I aim to help students do well in their exams and develop a real interest in chemistry that lasts beyond the classroom.
