I am currently a final year PhD Student at the University of Cambridge. During my PhD I had the opportunity to teach University as well as IB students and realised how passionate I am about tutoring.

Tutoring Experience

I have 2 years' experience in tutoring 2nd year University Students on Cell and Developmental Biology as well as 1.5 years tutoring IB Biology Student for the curriculum and other assessments.

Tutoring Approach

When teaching, I aim to put myself into the students' position in order to understand how to best communicate the material. Usually, relating a biological concept to an everyday issue works well for students. I also try to adjust the supervision style according to the student's learning style. Lastly, I encourage students to answer difficult questions first by themselves, before I explain in further detail.
