I am 35 years old and have a passion for teaching and helping children thrive in their learning. Outside of teaching I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures as well as spending time with my family.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced primary school teacher who has been in been the profession for 7 years. I also tutor part time in the evenings and on the weekends for children who will be taking the 11+ entrance exams.

Tutoring Approach

I use positive reinforcement as I believe praise and encouragement can motivate students to keep trying, even when they find the material challenging. I think it is important to recognise achievements no matter how small they are. I like to encourage my students to to reflect on their understanding, identify areas where they struggle, and develop strategies to overcome these challenges.
