Hello! I’m Kati, a qualified teacher with over 25 years of experience ( teaching in London) supporting children to grow in confidence and love learning. I specialise in working with KS1 and KS2 children who are bright, sensitive, or a little shy, helping them feel safe, valued, and inspired. I am passionate about building thinking skills and curiosity rather than drilling for exams, creating sessions that are calm, fun, and encouraging. As a mum of an exceptionally curious child myself, I understand how important it is for children to feel understood, supported, and confident in who they are.
I have taught across KS1 and KS2 for over 25 years, leading science and developing critical thinking programs. My experience includes supporting children of all abilities, including those who are very able but lack confidence or feel under-stretched at school. I have a strong background in nurturing thinking skills, resilience, and curiosity, and I love helping children discover how capable they truly are.

"Kati has a gift for making children feel valued and capable. My daughter was starting to lose her love of learning, but Kati has reawakened her curiosity and confidence. She comes out of every session smiling and full of ideas to share."
— Parent of Year 3 student
"What I love most about Kati is that she doesn't just teach for the test. She teaches children how to think, question, and believe in themselves. My son feels truly seen in her sessions, and that has made all the difference."

My approach is gentle, patient, and encouraging. I focus on building confidence, developing thinking skills, and fostering a love of learning. I tailor sessions to each child’s needs and interests, making learning meaningful, fun, and connected to real life. I believe learning should never be rushed or pressured – instead, children thrive best when they feel safe to ask questions, explore ideas, and express themselves without fear of getting things wrong.
