My name is Keenan, I am a 3rd year Physics and Astrophysics student at the University of Glasgow. I am very passionate about helping people learn and understand both Maths and Physics - two of what are considered to be the hardest subjects that most people struggle with at school. I like to think I am a laid back and approachable tutor, who understands student's struggles (especially with Maths and Physics, as after all that was definitely me when I was at school!).

Tutoring Experience

I have a fair amount of experience in tutoring NAT5 Mathematics, with some experience in Physics as well. However, I take the time to thoroughly understand any topics students wish to cover should they ask.

Tutoring Approach

I encourage student's to have an idea of what they want help with, maybe some exam questions or homework assignments they don't quite understand, or just general questions about a particular topic. If not then no worries, I can pick out some questions or topics to go over to consolidate learning. Another approach I like to take is to go through past papers together, where students can work through the questions at their own pace and talking me through every step they are taking.

My approach is not just telling students the answer and what to do, I encourage them to explore their own ideas on how to approach questions and concepts, then guide them to the right answer.
