A scientist by day, an avid home cook by night!
I've spent the past 6+ years working in the biopharmaceutical industry as a research scientist, working on novel cell and gene therapies for hard to treat human diseases such as cancer. I also spend some of my time presenting science shows to young audiences, showcasing fun science experiments that are both educational and engaging.
In my free time, I also enjoy salsa dancing, going to the gym and enjoying long walks in nature!
I've been a tutor in past for various age groups from KS1 all through to A-Level. My speciality is in science subjects, especially biology.
I also enjoy delivering fun science shows to children from ages 5 to 14.
I find a lot of joy in teaching and being able to support students in their studies!
Every concept can be explained to anyone as long as you understand it itself.
I always welcome open-thinking and asking any questions that can help further understand a topic or problem. Learning is always about discovery, and there is no limit to it! Patience is also always key to guiding someone on their learning, and understanding their needs.
