My name is Kimberley, I am 30 years old and I am a primary school teacher. I love my job and I have also taught Arts and Crafts at a summer camp in America and I have taught English in schools in Thailand. The children in my class describe me as kind, caring, helpful, bubbly and friendly. Parents in my class have commented on how well liked I am by their children and I believe this is down to my calm and nurturing nature.
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher working for Glasgow council. I teach a primary 1 class and have tutored pupils in primary 1, 5, 6 primary 7. I have experience across early to second level so I can tutor from Primary 1 to 7.
I am very friendly and approachable. I love to help children reach their full potential. I believe every child is individual and therefore have individual needs and learning styles. In my career I have taught a range of abilities and needs. I also have experience of teaching children with additional support needs. I use a range of different resources, incorporating active learning into my teaching and tutoring.
