Hui's Feedback

Very good tutor. Very pleasant lady.

Having paid my fee to First Tutors, I made contact with Hui by email, and arranged for my first lesson between 7:30 and 9pm tonight.
At 8pm, I have not heard from her, and have text, emailed called her phone, but not had any reply.
Very disappointing and a waste of time and money.

Hui has been a very understanding tutor and also very welcoming. As an experienced Mandarin speaker with 'brain drain', after a few weeks my speaking and reading were markedly better. Listening to Mandarin is difficult, but Hui is very good at helping to break down sentences in order for better comprehension.

Beginner to Advanced, if you want to learn Mandarin I would reccomend Hui.

My daughter has just started mandarin in year 7. She is thoroughly enjoying the lessons with Hui. She has found her help invaluable and put her at an advantage during her lessons in class.
Hui's calm presence and reassurance has made Elise feel relaxed, happy and more confident in her learning journey. Elise looks forward to her lessons with Hui. Hui has also provided us, parents constructive feedback about Elise's learning and progress.
So thank you Hui for keeping her enthusiasm for the language going.

Alice (7) had her first online Chinese lesson with Hui on Thursday and she loved every minute of it. Hui's calm presence and reassuring smile helped Alice feel relaxed and happy. She was patient and her feedback was always positive and reassuring which gave Alice the confidence to work hard. Alice finished the lesson feeling good about herself and positive about the whole experience. She's counting down the days until her next lesson and would recommend Hui to any child wishing to learn Chinese.

I had exam preparation lessons with Hui for about 2 weeks. She was a really nice and easy to get along with, I really enjoyed every single lesson with her. She is great at explaining things which made me gain more confidence for the exam.
