Hi, I’m Lauren. I’m an experienced Law teacher at a top rated Sixth Form College. I have a degree in Law with Criminology and I am in my 10th year of teaching, having delivered the OCR Law specification for 9 years and I opt to teach the Contract Law option on paper 3.
I only tutor students who study the OCR specification to ensure I can support fully with content and exam technique.
My strategy is to first meet a student, find out what they wish to develop and then move forward from there! Sessions are planned in advance to ensure student’s benefit from the time allocated.
I am fantastic at improving students grades. I also mark for OCR.
For one-to-one sessions I charge £45 an hour. A discount is applied if sessions are paid for monthly.
Group sessions are available.
I have taught a variety of subjects in my career, including Psychology and Sociology, but my specialism and passion is Law. I have been teaching for 10 years.
I have offered one-to-one and small group sessions for 7 years. I have refined my approach and have been given excellent feedback from students and parents/carers.
I have an individualised approach to teaching, as I believe this achieves the best results. All sessions will be catered toward the students needs in order to help them progress.
The student and I will create shared notes/ resources in the session which will be shared with them promptly afterwards. They can then use these notes for their own revision.
