I am Director of Sixth Form at one of the most successful girls boarding schools in the country, overseeing all Sixth Form development including academic flourishing and Oxbridge and Ivy League university admissions. Previously, I was Head of Department and Teacher at a highly successful and academic Day School in London. I also led the Oxbridge University Admissions Programme and have been an Assistant Housemaster in a boarding school in Cambridge. Besides academic subjects, I specalise in helping pupils with university admissions, including UCAS Personal Statements, UK and US preparation and ensuring success at interview.
I have 13 years of teaching experience in a variety of roles. I have taught Philosophy and Religious education to University admission level and have helped to mentor students successfully in a variety of other subjects. I also examine in Philosophy for a leading exam board. As well as my teaching and managerial roles I sit on several national committees including a leading role in the Independent Schools Religious Studies Association. I have presented at National teaching conferences and lectured at a Russell Group University.
I have a relaxed and friendly style of tutoring whilst at the same time seeking to gain the very best from my students. With such a wide and varied level of experience I can adapt to suit the needs of the individual, and ensure that they reach the very best of their potential.
For the upcoming academic year I am able to take on a couple of new students for subject tuition or to guide them to success with university applications.
