Hello, I am Head of Science and Head of Chemistry at Tiffin School, a boy's grammar school in Kingston Upon Thames.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 20 years of teaching experience and have tutored many GCSE and A level students in the past. Being in the classroom on a daily basis and managing a very successful department mean that I am fully aware of all developments in the syllabus and exam styles.

Tutoring Approach

I spend time talking to tutees about areas that they are unsure of, then spend time explaining. When I'm happy a tutee understands I spend a lot of time going through exam questions and in particular using mark schemes to ensure enough detail is added. Tutees in the past have made between 1-3 grades progress from starting tuition with me.
