I am a very experienced Psychology and Sociology teacher and head of department with an excellent track record of A Level results. Many of my students have successfully continued Social Sciences to degree level and beyond. I am an experienced examiner for both Psychology and Sociology A Level and therefore understand exactly what students need to do to get the grade they want.

I have worked in a variety of institutions with a brought range of students. I have many years of Sixth Form leadership experience through which I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges of A Levels and how to best support students to reach their full potential.

Tutoring Experience

• Over 16 years' experience teaching Psychology and Sociology and leading departments at A Level

• Over 8 years' experience in Sixth Form leadership including one-to-one pastoral and academic support of 16-18yr old students

• I go beyond teaching content by honing students' exam technique; by signposting online resources and developing independent learning skills in my students, such as accurate self-assessment, effective revision strategies and time management skills.
