I have been a teacher of Religious Studies since 2010, having taught in North and East Yorkshire as well as Berkshire.
Tutoring Experience
I have been a teacher for 14 years. I currently teach AQA A Religious Studies, having taught all 6 themes as well as Christianity and Buddhism. I am fortunate that my students often gain some great grades. I teach OCR Religious Studies, having taught all 3 exams over the years. I am also an examiner for the DCT paper.
Tutoring Approach
I use a lot of questioning to support retrieval and memory. I find practising papers and applying content to work as a good approach. I also make links between content so that students are able to understand different contexts.
