I am a simple person who loves to find simple solutions to complex problems!
I am a qualified teacher with 18 years experience working in the Education sector across Africa and the United Kingdom. Prior to teaching, I was developing curriculum teacher training and child learning programmes for primary schools and teachers. I currently teach mainstream as well as children with visual impairment (large print and braillists).
My teaching style can best be described as interactive, flexible, supportive, and transparent. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence.
I believe that every child is capable of being a mathematician, provided they are geared with the right tools and resources to thrive. I also believe that a child that is confident in maths, will grow to love it!
