I have been Head of English and Performing Arts and have taught all levels from 5 years to adults. I have been named exemplary status by OFSTED and have gained numerous awards ..I have just completed a Masters Degree to write a novel and soon I will publish my book as well as my poems which are also illustrated by myself. I particularly focus on teaching GCSE English and teach across the world though zoom. I also teach speech and drama to New Zealand and Australia and have helped my students gain top grades of 9 and excellence.
The New Zealand Speech and Drama has gained me a great reputation and the English GCSE in the UK has gained me amazing reviews. I also teach Students who have Dyslexia and Aspergers Syndrome

Tutoring Experience

I have been a teacher for many years as Head of English and Drama.. I have helped gain Arts Mark Gold awards for the school .I have set up a performing Arts centre working with companies such as the Philharmonic Orchestra. I have also taught as a tutor across the globe focusing on English GCSE and helping students in New Zealand with the speech and Drama exams. They all have reached top grades of grade 9 and top Honours for all exams. I also teach to America giving presentations on Shakespeare and English Nineteenth Century Texts for exams . I have taught Dyslexic students gain top grades for GCSE English , My Masters Degree has helped in gaining better knowledge of writing creative texts and analysis..

Tutoring Approach

I believe each student can gain top grades and so I always start with encouraging the students to share their ideas and gain confidence and self belief. The student can discuss their ideas with confidence develop their own methods especially with creative writing. Writing is just a matter of how to establish their voice and enjoy the lessons. This is a great way of working. Dickens and Shakespeare can then be enjoyed.
