Lucinda

My name is Lucinda, and I am currently 19 years old. I have recently completed my A-levels, through which I achieved 3 A-stars. I am currently a second year medical student at the University of Nottingham. I offer tutoring services in Biology and Chemistry as well as offering Medical school application advice. I also achieved 9, 9's at GCSE including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, English Language and Literature.

As a dedicated tutor, my primary aim is to empower my students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in these subjects. I am commited to going above and beyond to help my students so that they are able to reach their full potential.

Tutoring Experience

Helping to develop younger students within my role as a senior prefect, has nurtured my leadership and improved my ability to breakdown challenging concepts and communicate them logically. Through my summer job as a tutor for 11+ exams, I further advanced my organisational skills by planning lessons and delivering information succinctly. Improving the learning life of younger students was very satisfying and rewarding.

I also have over 100 hours of tutoring Biology and Chemistry A-level by tutoring throughout university!

Tutoring Approach

I aim to make sure my student understands the content first and uses their specification to know what they must learn. After, I like to go through past paper questions in timed conditions with my students to consolidate the material taught in my lesson.
