I am an experienced languages tutor, specialising in Mandarin and English as a second language.
I graduated from Oxford University with a First Class degree in Chinese Studies, during which time I lived and studied in Beijing and Taiwan. I am a native English speaker and I speak Mandarin fluently.
I have experience delivering Mandarin tuition to students of all levels, from primary and secondary school to adult learners. I have trained a number of students to achieve top grades in their exams, helping them to grow in confidence as well as improve in exam performance.
Having achieved my CELTA qualification to teach English as a second language, I have taught English to students from different countries around the world. I support a number of adult learners looking to gain more confidence while communicating in English. I am also able to deliver lessons in Mandarin.
I support students looking to improve their grammar and vocabulary while placing particular focus on developing speaking skills. My aim is to increase each student's confidence while interacting in their chosen language, and to help students boost their grades.
