I am a secondary school teacher who is passionate about learning and enjoy teaching children my two favourite subjects. I am passionate about improving literacy rates and also supporting pupils to face exams through tailor made lessons.
I have a degree in English Literature and Classical Studies from the University of Bristol. I am now a secondary school teacher in my first year of ECT. I am on the TeachFirst programme and gained my Qualified Teacher Status last July. I teach Religious Studies and English literature to AQA GCSE level. I would be happy to teach some A Level, if I have experience with that specific text before.
I always keep my lessons very positive and focus greatly on tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils. I strive to make lessons and content engaging, purposeful and accessible, which I create through prior planning.
