Graduating in 1997, I have taught in a variety of educational settings around the country. I enjoy teaching English Language & Literature and Maths and have completed additional teaching qualifications in these subjects on top of my QTS qualification.
I am registered with the Online Enhanced DBS Update Service and am a member of The Tutors' Association.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in mainstream school, special education and in an educational referral unit for those excluded from mainstream education. I have also worked as a 121 tutor with young adults excluded from mainstream education and now work as a full time private tutor (7 years+), mainly tutoring GCSE Maths and English Language & Literature, and providing Home Schooling tuition for all subjects.

Tutoring Approach

I plan my lessons according to the individual targets and needs of the student, in line with National Curriculum objectives, and using a multi-sensory approach.
