I am a friendly, approachable and fun-loving person, who enjoys working with others. I love learning new things and I love to experiment with different ways to help people learn. I also love pets and have two very lively cockapoos who keep me busy.
I have worked as a teacher for over 15 years and have worked as a tutor for primary and secondary for the last two years. I am currently finishing a Masters in Education in inclusive practice and have also worked for local charities and in industry, working for EON at one point. I also work as a Key Stage 2 SATs marker.
I include games and visual learning in my teaching and am able to adjust my teaching to meet the needs of every individual student. I have a friendly and caring approach and have worked with students who have lacked confidence and have seen not only their confidence grow but also their results improve greatly. I also work closely with parents and use feedback to ensure I am meeting my student's needs.
