Hello,
I work part-time as a private tutor in Newmarket, Suffolk, with a focus on A-level Chemistry. My academic background includes a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Sussex and a Master’s from the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, one of France’s leading universities.

In addition to my current position as a Marketing Manager within the biotech sector, I dedicate my spare time to delivering tailored, high-quality chemistry tuition. This allows me to combine strong academic knowledge with practical, real-world experience in science.

Over the years, I have guided learners from primary through to university level, supporting them in building confidence, achieving higher grades, and fulfilling their academic ambitions.

Tutoring Approach

Learning should be a joy and I believe that I can share my passion of science and of my native language with all my students. I am very friendly and flexible and I can easily adapt to my students' need and pace of learning. I believe students should feel at ease in order to learn best.

As well as teaching and supporting students throughout their learning, I can offer advice on how to learn and to plan revisions successfully. These learning and time management skills are not taught at school, but are essential to reduce stressful revision times and are excellent habits to master before going to university or entering the working life.
