I am a full time Professional Tutor. Passion, Energy and Patience with a strategic approach is how I would describe my teaching style.
I specialise in Exam Technique Methods as part of the overall teaching process, which is key to attaining an A*.

My aim is to inspire every student i teach through my results focused lessons, where perfection is what enables my students to achieve an average of (95%) year on year.
I also teach the following exam boards: [ EDEXCEL, AQA, OCR, IB, JEB, CIE, WJEC]
I started tutoring with a few students, overtime I have taught in excess of 880 students.
All my students have had different learning abilities allowing me as a tutor to develop along the way. Each student i teach is different from one an other.
Therefore each lesson is specifically tailored to meet the needs of the tutee and his/her learning style.
On average (90-95%) of my students have gone onto achieve an (A*/A) within their overall A-level grade.
I also act as a student mentor/ performance coach for all students i teach as Economics is only one subject amongst others students need to do well in to achieve, proceed onto university.
Taking a structured approach in my teaching method gives the student clarity, especially when revising for exams.
Learning and revision are both a simultaneous process and I practice that from my first lesson with each student.
I adapt my teaching style to individual needs as that is the best-proven way to enhance learning.
Therefore each lesson is tailored to the student taking into consideration their strengths and weaknesses.
Before the first lesson I aim to have a conversation with the student or parent over the phone to first
discuss what the student is finding difficult in the subject and overall what outcome the parent/ student are looking for.
Economics can be a very enjoyable subject if taught in the correct way. Therefore I thoroughly prepare my students beyond the scope of the specification or exam board they may be sitting.
As a tutor I bring with me a variety of RESOURCES which have proven to be useful with my past and current students.
BANK OF DEFINITIONS; which is related to each exam board to allow my students to gain those extra marks in
each exam, which in turn will mean forsaking unnecessary time in note taking.
MODEL ANSWERS; each exam tends to have an essay question, for which I intend to teach students
how to answer by allowing them to form their own model answer.
EXAM TECHNIQUE; All my notes that i provide emphasize the importance of exam technique and how to answer short
and long essay questions.
REVISION TECHNIQUE; I teach my students in a thorough yet concise manner, whereby they are able to grasp the topic
in question utilising one or two methods.
LESSON NOTES AND REVISION NOTES;I provide all my students with notes therefore allowing them to focus their time
on exam questions.
QUESTION BANK; I have a database of all questions, which relate to each topic from various exam boards including
Edexcel,OCR, IB, AQA.
HOMEWORK; at the end of each lesson I give homework to my students which can consist of a mini topic test or a set of
questions related to the topic learnt.
CONTACT; Learning is not just limited to our lesson, i am always available to my tutees throughout the day via email,
text and phone call.
My aim is to help the student achieve the highest grade possible whilst instilling greater understanding in the subject. After teaching many students i have seen, everyone has the ability in achieving an A* however many students do not have the guidance required or in some cases cannot pin point why they not able to see the progress.
As a full time tutor my only commitment is my students and I give my utmost time and effort to all my students.
