Tutoring Experience

My tutoring journey began the day my younger siblings started school. From helping them with basic concepts in primary school to demystifying the complicated notions in their courses during the final years of high school, I have witnessed the profound impact that tutoring can have on a student's academic journey. This hands-on experience not only deepened my understanding of various subjects but also instilled in me a passion for helping others succeed academically.

Throughout the years I began helping not only them, but countless students ranging from young primary students to university peers, working with visual learners, kinesthetic learners, and many other learning styles. Thus, I developed a knack for tailoring my approach to suit each individual's learning approach and an ability to explain complex concepts in understandable terms. As a tutor, I am committed to empowering students to achieve their academic objectives while also fostering curiosity, logical thinking, and a genuine passion for learning.

Academic support may take different forms for each student which is why central to my tutoring approach is adaptability, as I strive to tailor the teaching methods and materials to the student’s needs. Along with a personalized approach I believe in cultivating a supportive learning environment, where questions are welcomed and met with patience and understanding. I strive to create engaging and interactive sessions where students not only assimilate information but also find joy and fulfilment in the learning process.

Using real-life examples, diagrams, flow charts, practice questions and more, my goal is to clarify concepts to students, offering additional support and reinforcement whenever necessary. By ensuring students comprehend the material thoroughly, I aim to cultivate confidence and proficiency in their learning journey.
