Marco

Hi! I came to the UK from Italy 8 years ago, it was supposed to be a 6 months visit but this is life....I enjoy a nice barbecue on the beach, playing basketball and watching movies. I want to start tutoring as my wife and I are waiting for a little one so want to be able to care for them.

Tutoring Experience

I have 8+ experience in teaching in higher education and before that I was tutoring whilst studying for my degrees in Italy. I have a B(Hons) and MSc in Aerospace Engineering, and got my PhD in Thermal Engineering in 2022. I am a published and award winner researcher.

Tutoring Approach

I have a dynamic yet rigorous approach to teaching. I like to engage my students with applications of what they are studying, often using quiz and videos in my lectures.

I can teach from Maths, to physics, to engineering concepts like automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, thermodynamics, as well as software like MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys Fluent, Solidworks and SPSS.
