Hi, I'm Margarita, originally from Russia but currently living in the UK. I'm a qualified translator and interpreter with a great passion for languages, eager to share my knowledge and experience with equally enthusiastic language lovers.

I’m a native speaker of Russian and I recently graduated from the University of Bath with a master’s degree in Interpreting and Translating, specializing in the English<>Russuan language combination. At the same time, the Spanish language has also held a very special place in my heart for the better part of my life. I lived and studied in Spain for 5 years, graduating from the University of Granada with a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting (with Spanish as my A language) in 2014. After that, I spent 5+ years working for a Spanish-language news website, where I occasionally provided simultaneous interpretation from Russian and English into Spanish. At the beginning of my linguistic journey, I also successfully passed DELE B2 and C2 exams.

While I don’t have a lot of tangible teaching experience, I’m convinced I can make up for it with my wide academic and professional experience, as well as my unwavering enthusiasm for languages.

I can promise you an in-depth yet flexible approach to lesson planing and teaching, focusing on your specific needs and goals, be it improving your reading skills, expanding your vocabulary or focusing on grammar.
I would be happy to work with students from beginner to upper-intermediate level in Spanish and any level in Russian.
