I am a native speaker and an experienced qualified teacher of Spanish. I love my subject and I am enthusiastic, patient and passionate to teach. I love travelling, reading, cinema, cycling and I have always had a yearning for learning to play the piano and so I am teaching myself playing piano and reading music.
I have been teaching Spanish for 15 years in the UK. I have a broad experience in providing tutoring to students of GCSE and A level Spanish, and preparing them for their end of year exams. I really enjoy teaching and exploring with the students the literary component of the curriculum, and helping them improve their critical and analytical skills. I have also provided extensive teaching to learners of very different levels, from total beginners to advanced and proficiency. Whether you are preparing for an exam, or learning Spanish for work, for leisure or fun or want to improve your listening and speaking skills, I can provide a learning approach that suit your needs.
I am committed to helping students to build their confidence and enjoy their learning to acquire the skills they need to excel, guiding them to reflect on their own progress. I practice an active and student-centre teaching and do the lessons as interactively as possible. I think it is important to have a clear understanding of the learner´s individual needs to have a flexible approach and to enable them to engage and feel supported and ready to learn independently. Tell me your needs and I will design a plan specifically for you. Together we will improve the areas that you need and together we will get you to achieve your Spanish's goals.
