I am a very friendly and positive person who finds it easy to build professional relationships with students. I am very hard-working and pull out all the stops when it comes to making the best provision for learners. I take a real pride in my work and always conduct lessons that are exciting, innovative and challenging.
I have 10 years of experience working with students who speak other languages and I now have 20 years of experience working with students who have found learning particularly challenging. My experience has been largely in secondary schools working with students between the ages of 11 and 16.
I am a great believer in learning through first hand experience and through discussion. Learning becomes far more effective when learners are directly engaged in talking about and experiencing the subject. My lessons are geared up to be very interactive and involve participation at every stage.
