My name is Mary, I am 21 and am a fourth year medic at Imperial College London. I achieved A*A*A in my Biology, Chemistry and Maths A-levels respectively. I have also achieved 10 grade 9s at GCSE (and an A* distinction in Further Maths GCSE) as well as an A in AS French. Further, I achieved 3110 (band 1) in my UCAT exam and received offers from Imperial College London, Kings College London and QMUL (Barts). I am keen in helping my tutees to learn and become more confident in their respective subjects. I am also offering help with Medicine interviews.

Tutoring Experience

• I have tutored privately for three years (Chemistry, Maths and Biology)
• I tutor for a UCAT company every Summer and have done this for the past three years

Tutoring Approach

-I will work with the tutee (and their parent(s)/ carer(s)) to establish areas to work on
-I will create a plan for the tutee and set relevant goals
-I will create personalised powerpoints to teach the topic
-I will prepare a plethora of exam questions and worksheets tailored to the needs of the student
-I will go through past exam papers and we can work on exam technique
-I am also a very outgoing person so I will also ensure that I create a happy and comfortable environment for my students to learn in
