Tutoring Experience

I am a UK based International teacher with experience of working in International British school in Qatar and Kuwait. My most recent 2023 summer school experience at Sherborne International Dorset UK had given me an opportunity to teach the International students from East Asian countries like Japan, Taiwan, China, Korea, and Central Asian countries like Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and South American students from Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, Uruguay etc. We had a nice bunch of Italian and Spanish students as well. Hence, it had been a wonderful and unique experience teaching a mixture of students from around the world sitting in my class learning maths & sciences. They left very positive feedback for my inquiry based lessons. They also throughly enjoyed the British style of teaching, and exploring the true British culture of south west of England as well as visiting multicultural London.

Tutoring Experience:
I am an experienced teacher (over 15 years) with QTS and relevant experience within educational environments. A highly confident professional who is able to work confidently with young children as well as children with SEN. My approach demonstrates sensitivity when dealing with children and young people as well as having the ability to recognise and respond appropriately to individual needs. I am highly creative with experience of successfully planning and co-ordinating activities. I am ambitious and self motivated with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work and the willingness to develop professionally. I am also an active member of Institute of Physics (IOP) since 2014.

Currently, I am working in a secondary school in London as a Science Teacher with KS5 physics teacher, and doing tutoring alongside.

I provide extensive support with A-levels physics contents including past papers of all exam boards especially Edexcel and AQA. Guidance towards completing the A-Levels practical write ups (CPAC) is also offered.

Tutoring Approach

Tutoring Approach
I provide in person and online tutoring via skype, zoom, google hang out, or any preferable mean. I ensure that pupils' learning is not disrupted and they recieve immdiate support with the work set by their school and myself. In addition to that, I also set up tasks on various online learning platforms like Seneca Learning, and provide feedback on their continous progress.

I always differentiate lessons for dyslexic, SEN and EAL pupils including stretch and challenge tasks for more able students. I have a strong commitment to raising standard of behaviour through improved teaching and learning skills. I believe that an engaging lesson is a key to 1:1 tutoring. Positive reinforcement is more effective than negative reinforcement and sanctions. Praise and reward is a strong extrinsic motivational factor that potentially increase intrinsic motivation and drive to learn.

I do all exam boards (AQA, EdExcel, OCR, CIE) and design lessons according to individual needs. I am very resourceful with interactive powerpoints and helping exam based materials in order to help secure outstanding grades in GCSEs and A-Levels. The pass rate of my students is very high and I have been teaching families in Newham as well as across London, Surrey and Essex since 2013.

I have also been preparing year 6 students for their SAT exams since 2011 and for grammar school preparatory tests. I worked in primary schools for 2 years. Please contact me if you require tutoring for SAT Exams.

I have also worked in further education, Newham Council and for City of London Corporation as an ESOL Teacher (since I hold a Masters degree in English Literature and Language as well).

I provide assignments help to university students, and to associate nursing courses as well.

I have worked in Qatar in an international British school and have taught IB, A level Physics and KS3-KS4 maths and all sciences.

Please note that the charges vary if you’re contacting from a private business.
