I am a 24-year old with experience achieving excellent academic results through asking the right questions about subjects. I feel at an early age not enough attention is given to teaching young people how to learn and how to write, so these are the essential skills that need to be covered before you dive into learning all the necessary information. Having studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics for 5 years through my A Levels and at Warwick University, I offer experience achieving excellent results in these subjects.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring is focused on helping my students to grasp the fundamentals of any subject so they can tackle unexpected problems and gain confidence when sitting exams. It is important to build a good foundation of subject understanding, essay structure and writing competency. Once you have these skills, picking out and learning key information becomes second nature because you know what information will help you to make your point in an exam environment. Once you know what information is important, you can then move on to using tools like flashcards to make sure you remember the key points. I want to find the areas that an individual is struggling with so we can work together on improving those areas.
